While I like Simon Pegg (Spaced - series 1) and enjoyed this movie, the main limiting factor was:

I don't know my zombie movies. I still enjoyed the movie qua movie, but felt like I was missing numerous references to the long history of zombie cinema (George Romero's work, 28 Days later, the Italian stuff, etc).

Overall, it was moderately good in a fuzzy amorphous kind of've got some relationship stuff, the 'lads larking about' stuff, the zombie stuff, gore, humor.

-Some fun stuff (outtakes), but some not so fun extras mean you'll have to wade through the menus to see it all.
-There are two commentaries on this disc:
1-The cast commentary sure sounds like they are having a good time, but I didn't get too much out of it.
2-Writer/Director commentary is much more interesting if you want to hear stuff about the film -- references, intentions, camera shots, etc.
