I may change this to a 10 after repeated listens. Everything about this third disc from Mint Royale is eight kinds of awesome. This is a huge step beyond On The Ropes, their first full length release. There, I loved half the tracks and happily bopped to the others. Here, I am tempted to put the whole damn thing on repeat.

Admittedly, the inclusion of "Singing in the Rain" makes for an awkward middle of the album. Created for a Volkswagen ad, the song doesn't exactly feel like part of the mix here. Still, it'll probably grow on me. It'll have plenty of opportunity too as this CD will live in my player for at least two or three weeks.

This is easily the best disc I've ever gone to the trouble of importing.
